Lady Panthers Battle in Five-Set Thriller Against Greensburg

The Jennings County Lady Panthers volleyball team put on an exciting show for their home crowd last night, taking the Greensburg Lady Pirates to five sets before ultimately falling in a hard-fought match. The final scores were 11-25, 25-23, 12-25, 29-27, and 12-15. The Panthers showed resilience throughout the night, bouncing back after tough sets and pushing the Pirates to the very end. The fourth set was a highlight, with Jennings County rallying late to pull out a dramatic 29-27 win and force a decisive fifth set. Individual Performances: Kaydence Lowman led the team with a strong presence at the net, recording 14 kills and 5 blocks. Lydia Martin turned in an all-around performance with 13 kills, 12 digs, and 1 block. Sydney Kegley added 8 kills, 5 digs, and 1 block, providing key momentum throughout the match. Kenna Sentz contributed on both sides of the net with 5 kills, 4 blocks, and 2 digs. Khylee Barlow added toughness at the net with 5 kills and 2 blocks. While the Panthers came up just short, the team’s energy, grit, and determination were on full display. The effort against a tough Greensburg squad shows the growth and potential this Jennings County team brings to the court this season.
