The Jennings County Lady Panthers traveled to Greensburg Community High School for a road matchup against a potential sectional opponent in the Lady Pirates. Jennings County came up short, falling 49–36 to Class 3A No. 3 Greensburg. The game opened at a fast pace, with both teams knocking down multiple three-pointers in the opening minutes, as Mollie Ernstes scored eight quick points for Jennings County. The tempo slowed as the quarter progressed, and Greensburg held a 15–11 advantage after one. The Lady Pirates carried that momentum into the break, taking a 27–19 lead at halftime following a buzzer-beating basket from Claire Larrison, who accounted for 19 of Greensburg’s 27 first-half points. Greensburg never relinquished the lead from that point on. A mistake-filled night made it difficult for the Lady Panthers to mount a comeback, as the Lady Pirates carried a 14-point advantage into the fourth quarter before closing out a 49–36 victory. The Lady Panthers were once again led in scoring by Mollie Ernstes and Etta Young. Ernstes had 19 points while Young added 13 points.
